Served Cold

Revenge is a dish best served cold – old Klingon proverb.

I see a lot of excitement in the right-wing blogosphere today over the appointment of Michael Cullen to the Chairmanship of New Zealand Post. DPF finds the news as much fun as a colonoscopy (with or without sedation, David?) The Whale suggests it would be more appropriate to sentence Mr Cullen to the Chairmanship of Kiwirail (without funding, of course).

The MacDoctor thinks Cameron is too nice.

If I was an evil, devious bastard, I would offer Mr. Cullen a plum job which he can’t refuse, such as the chairmanship of New Zealand Post, in which he can’t really do much damage.

Then, in 2012, with a new mandate from the people, I would privatise New Zealand Post.

I am looking forward to the delicious irony of Michael “Nationalisation” Cullen being forced to chair a company through the privatisation process.

Served ice cold.
