Yet across the sea the Aussies have been using much the cooperative style to incrementally make the changes that have widened the gap in per capita income. Some of these people have been around Parliament for so long they forget that just because it's always been done a particular way for nine years doesn't mean that way has to continue. And it's a myth perpetuated by the Press gallery and Labour, who can't possibly see any better way of running the show. That's actually a bloody good analysis of it.
