Lee Cleared

I see Melissa Lee has been cleared of any wrongdoing concerning NZ on air funding and in the making of election videos. So much for Labour’s usual ploy of smearing candidates rather than addressing the issues. While I do not expect Phil Goff or Trevor Mallard to apologise for any of their unfounded accusations in parliament (this would require them to be statesmanlike), I do wonder if we shall see any contriteness from the media who took every opportunity to mention the smear in every article the wrote about Ms. Lee, regardless of it’s unproven and extremely dubious nature.

Probably not.
